Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Chemical Dependency / Addiction Recovery (Overnight)

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with chemical dependency experience to provide overnight care in a 30-bed substance use treatment facility. The patient population is balanced—50% male, 50% female. This role focuses on initial medical monitoring, medication administration, and managing patients who may relapse.
- Internal referrals: Typically do not require withdrawal management
- External referrals: May require withdrawal management

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments and ongoing medical monitoring of patients
- Administer medications safely according to physician orders
- Monitor patients for signs of relapse, withdrawal, or medical concerns
- Collaborate with clinical and counseling staff to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate, confidential documentation per regulatory standards
- Respond promptly to medical needs or emergencies
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in [State]
- Experience in chemical dependency, addiction recovery, or behavioral health nursing preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong clinical judgment, assessment, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and remain calm in high-stress situations
- Compassionate, professional, and reliable
Schedule & Environment:
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Rotating schedule
- Full-time, weekends included
- 30-bed facility, 50/50 male-female patient ratio
- Patient population includes individuals who may relapse; withdrawal management typically needed only for external referrals
