Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Human Resources Generalist. The ideal candidate will possess solid knowledge of human resources and serve as a liaison for employees. This role requires a commitment to our core values an ability to manage employee matters effectively and discreetly. Functions include recruiting, employee relations, policy implementation, and compliance with employment laws, payroll, onboarding, performance management, and benefits administration.
Responsibilities
- Manages timekeeping activities and out of office requests
- Full Employee Lifecyle: Recruiting, Onboarding, Benefits, Performance Management, Separations
- Bi-Weekly Payroll, Keeping Notes Regarding
- Maintains personnel files to ensure confidentiality and compliance with all legal regulations and firm policies; maintains other department filing as necessary
- Responds to appropriate government correspondence (e.g., unemployment verification, garnishments, employee rights compliance) by following firm policies in all circumstances and gathering information
- Leads and coordinates special projects and initiatives
Skills/Qualifications
- 1 - 3+ Years Experience
- Bachelors Degree (Preferred, in-progress, or experience equivalent)
- Excellent basic knowledge of HR functions.
- Strong organizational skills and time management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in PC applications, including MS Office, Excel, Google Workspace, Paychex or similiar systems.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
