General Construction Laborer for Large Home Builder
One of the largest family owned Home Builders in Northern California is hiring a general laborers for one of our many projects in the Concord area. The ideal candidates will have experience in general construction or similar, but we are willing to train individuals who are motivated and want to grow their skills. Candidate must also be mobile and physically fit/able to visit and work on multiple sites. Must have a professional attitude and be able to take detailed direction easily. Requirements:
- Prior construction or general labor experience preferred. Painting/Drywall/Finishing experience is a plus but not required. Willing to train hard working, self motivated individuals.
- Must be mobile and physically able to visit multiple sites with tools and equipment. Having your own tools is a plus. Clean DMV record required.
- Able to lift heavy debris and building materials safely. Aware of Hazardous materials and HHM standards detailed by the leadership team.
- Self-motivated with the ability to easily take directions from the team and leadership. Must have a sense of urgency to complete tasks and projects to the standard required.
- Ability to complete a task or project from start to finish including cleanup by deadlines given.
- Must be a team player willing to tackle jobs that are often out of the normal scope of work. Willingness to adapt to any situation that may arise.
- A clear communicator able to use all forms of communication including email and technology. Bi-lingual is a plus.
- Ability to work safely in various construction environments.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Must be able to pass background and drug screening.
