We’re hiring a Senior QA Engineer to join our engineering team on a long-term basis, ensuring the quality of multiple web-based products and websites. You’ll own testing end-to-end — from hands-on manual and exploratory testing to building and maintaining automated test suites — and use modern AI-powered testing tools to work faster and catch more, without lowering the bar on quality.
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute manual test plans, test cases, and exploratory testing across web products and websites.
- Build and maintain automated test suites (UI, API, regression) using modern testing frameworks.
- Use AI-assisted testing tools to generate test cases, speed up test authoring, and surface edge cases a manual pass might miss.
- Perform functional, regression, cross-browser, and UI/UX testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs clearly, working closely with developers through to resolution.
- Define and maintain QA processes, checklists, and test coverage across products.
- Own release sign-off and production verification.
- Translate product requirements into clear, thorough test scenarios in collaboration with product/project leads.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years professional experience in QA/software testing for web products.
- Strong manual testing skills: test case design, exploratory testing, clear bug reporting.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar).
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST clients, or similar).
- Comfortable using AI-assisted testing tools (AI test-case generation, AI-powered visual/regression testing, or similar) — or strong eagerness to adopt this workflow.
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail, or similar).
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into them.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Nice to Have:
- Experience testing POS, billing, inventory, or e-commerce systems.
- Experience testing AI-powered product features.
- Basic scripting ability (JavaScript/Python) for test automation.
- Experience with performance or load testing.
