Responsibilities
- Operate warehouse management systems and inventory management software to track stock levels, update records, and ensure data accuracy.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders using RF scanners, order pickers, pallet jacks, and other equipment to meet shipping deadlines.
- Load and unload shipments efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools while adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct stock stocking and replenishment activities to maintain optimal inventory levels across all storage areas.
- Assist with shipping & receiving processes by verifying shipments against purchase orders, preparing shipping labels, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations.
- Maintain accurate data entry records for inventory transactions and order processing within ERP systems such as AS400 or MRP platforms.
- Support warehouse distribution functions by organizing products for easy access, packaging items securely for shipment, and ensuring order accuracy.
Skills
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems like AS400 or MRP, and inventory management software.
- Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, trade compliance, international trade regulations, and order fulfillment procedures.
- Excellent basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately.
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
- Competence in data entry using Microsoft Office tools to document transactions and generate reports.
- Ability to perform warehouse operations including stocking, picking & packing, load & unload activities with attention to safety standards.
- Customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and support internal or external clients when needed.
