AP Exterior Services LLC is looking for an experienced, dependable field technician with a reliable truck capable of towing our equipment trailer.
This is not an entry-level position.
Our company specializes in paver installation and repair, hardscape projects, paver restoration, sealing, pressure washing, soft washing, and other exterior improvement services throughout Central Florida.
We are looking for someone who already has strong hands-on construction or hardscape experience and can work efficiently without constant supervision.
Applicants with a reliable truck properly rated to tow approximately 6,000–8,000 lbs will receive priority.
We are looking for someone who wants consistent, year-round work and the opportunity to take on greater responsibility as our company continues to grow.
Compensation & Schedule
- $200–$250+ per day, depending on experience, skill level, vehicle, and ability to work independently.
- Typical workdays are approximately 8–12 hours, depending on the project.
- Monday through Friday.
- Weekends generally off.
- Consistent, year-round work.
- Additional compensation opportunities for specialty installations, larger projects, and increased responsibilities.

Primary ResponsibilitiesPaver & Hardscape Work
- Complete paver installations from excavation through final installation.
- Grade and prepare subgrade and base materials properly.
- Compact base materials and establish proper elevations and drainage.
- Install bedding material and accurately level pavers.
- Cut and fit pavers around curves, borders, structures, and obstacles.
- Install concrete or other edge restraints.
- Perform paver repairs and re-leveling.
- Install joint sand and apply professional-grade paver sealers.
- Assist with retaining walls, steps, borders, walkways, and other hardscape projects.
- Operate compactors, concrete saws, demolition equipment, and other hardscape tools.
Exterior Cleaning & Restoration
- Pressure wash driveways, pool decks, patios, sidewalks, walls, and other exterior surfaces.
- Perform soft washing and chemical applications.
- Operate pressure washers, surface cleaners, pumps, hoses, and related equipment.
- Perform paver cleaning, sanding, sealing, and restoration.
- Properly mix and apply cleaning chemicals and sealing products.
Previous exterior cleaning experience is preferred, but we are willing to train an experienced hardscape/construction candidate on our cleaning systems and procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional paver, hardscape, masonry, or similar construction experience.
- Must take pride in producing clean, professional-quality work.
- Able to work independently and solve problems in the field.
- Dependable, punctual, professional, and detail-oriented.
- Strong understanding of grading, base preparation, leveling, drainage, and compaction.
- Comfortable operating saws, compactors, pressure washing equipment, and construction tools.
- Able to perform physically demanding outdoor work in Florida conditions.
- Able to lift 50+ lbs regularly.
- Valid driver's license and clean/reliable driving history.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
Strongly Preferred
- Own a reliable truck with an appropriately rated towing capacity of at least 8,000 lbs.
- Experience towing enclosed, dump, equipment, or utility trailers.
- Experience with paver installation from excavation through completion.
- Experience operating skid steers, mini excavators, or similar equipment.
- Experience with paver sealing and restoration.
- Experience with pressure washing and soft washing.
- Experience leading a small crew.

Pay: $200.00 - $275.00 per day
