Position Title: Product Review Engineer 2, 3, 4, 5

Position Summary:
We are seeking multiple experienced Product Review Engineers to support aerospace manufacturing by evaluating nonconforming hardware, driving material disposition decisions, and ensuring compliance with engineering and quality standards. This role requires a strong background in Materials Review Board (MRB) processes, product review, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supplier teams. The ideal candidate has previously held MRB Signature Authority and possesses hands-on experience resolving complex product nonconformances within the aerospace industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and evaluate nonconforming aerospace parts, assemblies, and materials to determine appropriate disposition.
- Exercise MRB Signature Authority to approve material review decisions in accordance with engineering requirements and quality standards.
- Analyze product discrepancies and recommend repair, rework, use-as-is, or scrap dispositions.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, models, and manufacturing requirements to support disposition decisions.
- Collaborate with Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Supplier Quality, and Production teams to resolve technical issues.
- Coordinate with aerospace suppliers to evaluate nonconforming components and support timely issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, customer requirements, and applicable aerospace quality standards.
- Document disposition decisions and maintain accurate engineering and MRB records.
- Participate in root cause investigations and support corrective and preventive action initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts to improve product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and supplier performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent aerospace industry experience.
- Previous experience holding Materials Review Board (MRB) Signature Authority is mandatory.
- Minimum of 3-10 years of hands-on Materials Review (MRB) experience within the aerospace industry.
- Experience working with two or more aerospace suppliers supporting aerospace manufacturing or production programs.
- Strong knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes, engineering drawings, GD&T, and product configuration requirements.
- Ability to evaluate nonconforming hardware and determine technically sound disposition decisions.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Previous MRB Signature Authority experience (required).
- Hands-on Materials Review experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting at least two aerospace suppliers.
- Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications.
- Proven experience making engineering disposition decisions for nonconforming aerospace products.

Pay: $50.00 - $120.00 per hour
