Patient Service Representative
Middlesex Gastroenterology Associates is a private, independent medical practice that has proudly served our community for more than 30 years. We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Patient Service Representative to join our team and help us continue providing exceptional care and service to our patients.
About the Position
This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position with periodic travel between our office locations (Marlborough, Madison, Essex). As a Patient Service Representative, you’ll be one of the first people our patients interact with and an important part of creating a welcoming, efficient, and positive experience.
Your day may include:
- Greeting and assisting patients and visitors
- Checking patients in and out
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Answering incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate team member
- Collecting and processing patient payments
- Updating patient demographic and account information
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Supporting providers and team members with other administrative duties as needed
What We’re Looking For
Previous receptionist or customer service experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. Experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is a plus.

- Is comfortable traveling periodically to our satellite offices
Schedule
- Full-time: 40 hours per week
- Hours: Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:00pm (pending on organization needs may be earlier start times)
- Work location: In person
- Periodic travel between office locations is required
