Surrogate Specialist

We are looking for a Surrogate Specialist to join our Surrogate Services Team. Within this role, team members may focus primarily on one of two areas depending on experience and strengths. While team members may lean into one of these areas, all Surrogate Specialists are expected to understand and contribute to both aspects of the role. The ideal candidate is someone who can combine strong relationship skills with operational attention to detail.
Surrogate Experience
Focused on building relationships with surrogate applicants and guiding them through the early stages of their journey.
Operations
Focused on surrogate case progression, documentation, workflow management, and maintaining data integrity.
What you’ll do:
Surrogate Experience

Provide a gold star level of customer service and support to applicants exploring surrogacy.

Serve as a trusted point of contact for surrogates during the intake process.

Educate surrogates on program expectations and help them navigate the early stages of their journey.

Maintain empathetic and professional communication with internal teams and external partners, including applicants and third-party vendors.

Lead conversations with professionalism and empathy, providing clear guidance while skillfully navigating both routine and challenging discussions.

Ensure all communications and updates are clearly recorded in internal systems.

Partner closely with the team member supporting operations to ensure consistent communication and forward progress on cases.
Operations

Partner closely with the team member supporting the applicant experience to ensure consistent communication and forward progress on cases.

Maintain organized, accurate records and documentation.

Follow established workflows to review applications and complete intake tasks, including, but not limited to, medical record requests, document uploads, background checks, insurance submissions, and other backend processing tasks.

Complete regular audits of cases to ensure forward progress and data integrity.

Monitor case movement and identify opportunities to support efficient workflow.

Maintain data integrity across systems, such as Salesforce.
Team Contribution

Collaborate with internal teams to support the overall success of the surrogate process.

Participate in and contribute to departmental and company initiatives and projects. Be a creative problem solver with strong attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook. Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is a plus.

Prior experience in customer service, case management, or operations roles preferred.
