Overview
Streamline Defense is seeking a Technical Instructor to support the U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) Enterprise Data & Analytics (EDA) program at SOUTHCOM Headquarters in Doral, FL. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
Proposed personnel shall possess expert-level knowledge in data engineering, geospatial analysis, and open-source intelligence (OSINT) methodologies.
They must demonstrate proficiency in developing and delivering training on the use of Jupyter Notebooks, API integrations, metadata management, and structured data layer development.
Familiarity with secure data environments, role-based access controls (RBAC), and cataloging standards is essential.
Personnel must be skilled in creating and adapting hands-on instructional content for technical users, including practical exercises that simulate real-world data processing, analysis, and visualization tasks.
The individual must also be able to coordinate with the Training Coordinator to align delivery with broader training objectives and ensure content is responsive to Government-directed priorities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required to facilitate documentation, post-training support, and dynamic engagement with both U.S. and partner nation personnel.
Requirements
Active TS/SCI clearance
The contractor shall provide personnel with a bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Intelligence Studies, Data Science, or a related field, or a minimum of five (5) years of equivalent experience in technical training, curriculum development, or applied instruction.
Personnel must demonstrate working knowledge of OSINT methodologies, geospatial data analysis, or intelligence tradecraft, with practical exposure to ESRI ArcGIS, dashboard analytics, Jupyter Notebooks, or other mission-relevant tools.
Experience supporting interagency collaboration, training program evaluation, or working with international or partner-nation personnel is desirable but not required for baseline qualification.
The position is suited for junior to mid-level professionals with strong instructional delivery skills and the ability to develop practical, scenario-based technical content.
