Summary
As a Production Supervisor at Doerfler Mfg., you will oversee the manufacturing processes within our facility, ensuring efficiency and quality in the production of our natural bath and body products. This role is essential in maintaining our standards of excellence and supporting our mission to deliver top-notch products to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Manage a team of production workers, providing guidance and support to enhance performance.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust workflows to meet deadlines efficiently.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operation.
- Train new employees on manufacturing processes and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and resolve any issues that arise.
- Maintain accurate records of production output and report on key performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using power tools and hand tools.
- Ability to manage teams effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
- Familiarity with assembly line processes and warehouse operations is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in production quality.
- Experience operating forklifts is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and management.
