Home Instead is looking for a Client Relationship Manager who can build trust quickly, guide families through important decisions, and develop relationships that lead to long-term growth.
This is a role for someone who likes being out in the community rather than sitting behind a desk. You'll meet prospective clients and families in their homes, stay connected with existing clients to make sure their care is working well, and build relationships with healthcare and community professionals who can turn to Home Instead when someone needs support.
If you're empathetic but confident, naturally good with people, and comfortable asking for the business when you know you can help, you can make a meaningful impact here.
About Home Instead
Home Instead is a leading provider of non-medical home care, helping seniors and adults with disabilities continue living in the place they call home. Since 1994, the organization has built its reputation around compassionate care, strong caregiver training, and long-term relationships with clients and families.
The franchise enterprise supporting this role has brought together 20 Home Instead locations over the past two years, including 11 across California. With that scale comes greater investment in people, training, technology, and stronger systems to support clients, families, and employees.
And the organization is still growing.
That creates an opportunity to join a team that is strengthening how it serves families while building a more consistent, relationship-driven approach to growth.
The Opportunity
You'll own relationships across an assigned Los Angeles territory, working primarily from home and in the field.
Your role will span three important areas: meeting with prospective families to understand their care needs, staying connected with existing clients through quality assurance visits and follow-up, and developing relationships with hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, senior living communities, and other referral partners.
You'll organize your own schedule, manage your territory, and have the autonomy to build relationships in a way that feels genuine - not scripted or high-pressure.
The Impact You'll Make
- Help Families Make Confident Decisions: Lead consultative care conversations that build trust, communicate the value of Home Instead, and progress toward a 75% close rate.
- Protect Client Relationships: Complete required quality assurance activity and proactively identify concerns before small issues become reasons for a family to leave.
- Build a Strong Referral Network: Develop meaningful relationships with healthcare and community partners, stay visible in your territory, and confidently ask for referrals.
- Own Your Territory: Create a disciplined weekly rhythm around consultations, client visits, referral development, follow-up, and Salesforce documentation.
- Navigate Difficult Conversations: Bring empathy and courage when families are facing difficult decisions, service concerns, or changing care needs - and advocate for what is in the client's best interest.
You do not need to come from home care to succeed here. Experience in home health, hospice, senior living, nursing, caregiving, social work, hospitality, or another relationship-driven sales or service environment can translate well. What matters most is that you care about people, communicate professionally, follow through, and have the confidence to guide a decision rather than simply take an order.
What You'll Get
- $31-$36 per hour
- 2% commission on sales generated through your referral-provider network
- $100 incentive for each care consultation you close
- Primarily field-based and home-based work within your assigned Los Angeles territory
- Medical, dental, and vision benefits with company contribution
- 401(k) with up to a 4% company match
- Paid holidays
- 40 hours of PTO, increasing with years of service
- 48 hours of sick time
- Mileage reimbursement
- Cell phone reimbursement
Most importantly, you'll have the opportunity to do work where relationships genuinely matter. You'll help families navigate decisions they may never have faced before, become a trusted resource to clients and community partners, and directly contribute to the growth of an organization investing in better care and stronger systems.
If you want a role that gets you out into the community, gives you ownership of your results, and lets you combine relationship-building with meaningful work, we'd like to talk with you.
