Our busy restaurant is searching for a Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, high-pressure and noisy restaurant environment. Previous experience in the food industry is required (3 years) as we are interested in hiring someone who has a passion for food service and is enthusiastic about working with the public. Experience is defined as working as a server in a restaurant that has tables you wait on ,use POS system and be able to handle cash transactions. You must be able to handle 4-5 tables as well as pack togo orders and answer phone for togo orders. I am looking for a seasoned server.
PLEASE READ: THESE ARE THE DAYS I NEED COVERED. THIS IS ALL OR NONE POSITION
This positions days are Thursday 10:30am to 9:30 pm with break from 4:00pm-5pm. Saturday and Sunday 10:30am-10:00pm with a break from 3:30pm -5pm. You MUST take all 3 shifts.
There may be additional additional shifts available if other employees need shifts covered.
Being on time and strong work ethic is required.
TIPS WILL BE PAID EVERY 2 WEEKS WITH YOUR PAYCHECK. I DO NOT PAY TIPS NIGHTLY.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and offer suggestions for menu items.
- Aquire a food handlers card if you dont have one already
- Maintain a positive relationship with customers and maintain a high quality of service.
- Ensure drinks are prepared correctly and served to customers according to their request.
- Respond quickly and proficiently to customer needs.
- Receive, store, and maintain the quality of food products in the establishment.
- Follow all food safety regulations related to storing, preparing, and serving food products.
- Ensure cups, silverware, and other items are clean and stored properly.
- Consistently meet or exceed goals set by management.
