Job Title: Senior Shift Lead

Position Summary
The Senior Shift Lead is a full-time leadership position responsible for supporting daily stand operations, developing team members, and assisting the Stand Manager with administrative and scheduling responsibilities. This role serves as a key bridge between management and the Brewista team, ensuring operational excellence, training consistency, and strong communication across the stand.
Expected Hours: 35–40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership Training

Conduct first-round interviews for Brewista candidates and provide hiring recommendations to the Manager.

Train new Brewistas through hands-on, on-shift training and coaching.

Oversee and support the training process for all new Brewistas to ensure consistency and quality.

Train newly promoted Shift Leads on leadership expectations, operational procedures, and team management.

Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to team members.
Scheduling Administrative Support

Create and maintain the Brewista schedule, with final approval by the Stand Manager.

Review timesheets for accuracy and address discrepancies.

Monitor employee hours worked and communicate concerns to the Stand Manager.

Manage Teamworx shift swap requests and ensure adequate shift coverage, ensuring team members work 29 hours per week or less, unless otherwise approved by the Stand Manager.

Dedicate approximately five hours at most per week to administrative responsibilities.
Operations Compliance

Lead shifts while maintaining exceptional guest service and operational standards.

Rotate through all shift positions to maintain proficiency and support team needs.

Ensure all daily Zenput tasks are completed accurately and on time.

Monitor execution of promotions, including:

Communicating promotional details to the team (jackpot days, holidays, etc.).

Ensuring promotional signage is displayed correctly and remains compliant with company standards.

Support the Stand Manager in maintaining cleanliness, safety, and operational excellence throughout the stand.
On-Shift Expectations

Senior Shift Leads are expected to actively participate in all operational positions and rotate throughout the stand as needed.

New Brewistas should be trained during regular shifts through shadowing, observation, and active participation in daily operations.

Senior Shift Leads should balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on support of the team and guest experience.

Approximately five hours per week may be allocated for administrative duties outside of normal position rotation.
Qualifications
- 1+ year prior hospitality (restaurant, hotel, or retail) experience in a leadership capacity

Prior experience in training, coaching, and motivating other team members.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of leading multiple priorities.

Experience using scheduling tools, labor management, and operational systems.
Compensation: The Senior Shift Lead Role pays up to $27 per hour inclusive of tips (hourly base rate is $13.00-$16.00 hourly + tips)

A successful Senior Shift Lead consistently develops team members, follows all training program expectations, supports smooth stand operations, maintains strong labor management practices, and helps create an exceptional experience for both guests and employees.
