Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with behavioral challenges by implementing treatment plans and providing direct care. This position requires a strong understanding of behavioral health principles and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and other professionals in the field.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a licensed professional.
- Monitor and document client progress, behaviors, and responses to interventions accurately.
- Provide direct support to clients in various settings, including home, school, and community environments.
- Assist in medication administration as needed and ensure compliance with medical documentation protocols.
- Engage clients in therapeutic activities that promote skill development and positive behavior management.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including special education professionals, social workers, and healthcare providers.
- Participate in crisis management situations while maintaining a safe environment for clients and staff.
- Maintain confidentiality of client records and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions.
