What You'll Do
- Wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing and facility linens
- Label and organize resident personal items according to facility procedures
- Operate commercial washers, dryers, and laundry equipment safely
- Maintain clean, organized laundry and linen storage areas
- Follow infection prevention, safety, and OSHA guidelines
- Monitor linen inventory and report supply needs
- Assist with special laundry requests as needed
- Work closely with nursing and housekeeping departments to ensure resident needs are met
Qualifications
Required:
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull laundry carts throughout the shift
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Preferred:
- Previous laundry, housekeeping, healthcare, hotel, or commercial laundry experience
- Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility or healthcare setting
