We operate multiple locations across the state and are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician (HVAC focused) to support our restaurant operations in San Antonio.
Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance across multiple restaurant locations, ensuring all equipment and facilities are operating efficiently and safely.
This role requires strong HVAC knowledge, general maintenance skills, and availability to respond to urgent issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on:
- HVAC systems (preventive & corrective)
- Refrigeration equipment (coolers, freezers, prep tables)
- Kitchen equipment (hot & cold stations)
- Electrical, plumbing, and general facility systems
- Conduct routine inspections to prevent equipment failures
- Troubleshoot and resolve urgent maintenance issues
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards
- Maintain maintenance logs and service records
- Coordinate with external vendors when needed
- Support restaurant openings, repairs, and remodels
- Handle basic permitting or support with compliance requirements
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in HVAC and/or restaurant maintenance
- Knowledge of:
- Refrigeration systems
- Kitchen equipment (grills, fryers, prep tables)
- Electrical and plumbing basics
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Availability for on-call and emergency repairs
- Flexible schedule (including weekends if needed)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in hot/cold environments
- Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods
