Kaige Kubota (a Kubota equipment dealership) and Kaige Equipment (an affiliated multi-category rental fleet) are hiring a Controller to own financial operations across both businesses. This is a newly created role with direct visibility to ownership.
What you'll do:
- Run monthly close, reconciliations, and GL management for two entities
- Manage floor plan financing and curtailment schedules
- Oversee rental fleet fixed-asset accounting and depreciation
- Prepare financial statements and reporting for ownership
- Manage cash flow forecasting, working capital, and lender relationships
- Partner with leadership on budgeting and financial strategy
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA a plus
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally including a controller-level role
- Experience in equipment dealership, rental, or another asset-heavy industry preferred
- Solid GAAP fundamentals; strong Excel skills
- DMS experience (CDK, Primus, or similar) a plus
