We are seeking a dedicated Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will be responsible for assisting customers, providing product recommendations, and ensuring a positive customer experience in a cannabis dispensary setting. We are looking for people that intend to work for the company for the long-haul, that means room for management and other opportunities. Employees need to be able to understand what the difference between legal hemp and illegal marijuana, terpene types are, natural and synthetic cannabis products, different types of cannabinoids, different methods of consumption, etc….
*Responsibilities*
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences
- Engage in upselling products
- Educate customers on different cultivars, products, and consumption methods
- Process transactions accurately using a Point of Sale (POS) system
- Maintain inventory levels and ensure products are displayed attractively
- Conduct product demonstrations and answer customer inquiries
- Handle cash transactions and maintain cash register accuracy
- Assist in supervising store operations when needed
- Keeping the store tidy
- Employees may not be high during employment hours
- Must have reliable transportation
- College education is a plus
*Experience*
- Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate with diverse customers
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures
- Experience conducting product demos is a plus
- Proficiency in basic math skills for transactions
- Bilingual skills may be advantageous
