Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide outstanding customer service throughout their visit
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently for retail sales transactions, including cash register operations and cash handling
- Assist customers with product demos, answering questions about store merchandise and providing detailed product knowledge
- Upsell products and services to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and ensuring products are well-presented
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Support cashiering duties with basic math skills for accurate cash drawer handling and retail math calculations
Experience
- Prior experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is highly desirable
- Supervising experience in a customer service or retail setting is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems and retail store product knowledge enhances performance in this role
- Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer needs effectively
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening, are essential for success
- Experience conducting product demos and upselling techniques will help maximize sales opportunities
