POSITION TITLE: Banquet/Event Staff
HOURS: Part-Time, Weekends & Evenings
LOCATION: Madera Estates, Conroe TX
PAY: $12 per hour
POSITION SUMMARY

We are actively seeking candidates with a passion for providing excellent hospitality. This person acts with a sense of urgency when completing assigned tasks. This team member should always have a smile on their face and looks for ways to improve the client’s experience. The purpose of this position is to interact with the guests and ensure they have a great experience at every wedding and event.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Set-up the event space including tables, chairs, linens, and buffets.
Maintain venue cleanliness at all times.
Respond to customer questions and requests.
Interact with customers friendly and helpful manner.
Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
Perform physical activities such as lifting and stooping.
Wash glassware and utensils as needed.
Break-down the event space.
Perform Other duties as and when assigned by the manager.
KEY CHARACTERISTICS
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Must be able to clock in and out according to the work schedule.
Overall excellent customer service.
Punctual.
Maintains a sense of urgency.
Energetic, motivated personality.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or equivalent required.
1 year of banquet experience a plus.
Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
Must have stamina, must be able to stand/walk for several hours at a time (8-12 hours).
Must have reliable transportation.
TABC Certification (if over 18)
Spanish bilingual a plus.
