Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during route driving.
- Manage delivery schedules efficiently by planning optimal routes and adhering to delivery timelines.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status, route changes, or any issues encountered on the road.
- Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL A).
- Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver experience with freight handling.
- Ability to operate specialized vehicles such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, dry van
- Knowledge of load & unload procedures and safety standards for freight transportation.
- Skilled in route driving with a focus on efficiency and safety.
- Strong understanding of trucking regulations and compliance requirements.
