What You’ll Do:
- Be a Hero: Monitor anesthesia and sedation, ensuring our patients receive the best care during procedures.
- Team Up: Collaborate with our skilled veterinarians and brilliant, compassionate team members in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Our Urgent care service is a team of four; one doctor, an assistant, two technicians.
- Make a Difference: Educate pet owners and contribute to treatment plans that allow owners to make informed decisions and enhance the lives of our patients.
- Stay Calm: Manage multiple tasks in high-pressure situations with poise and professionalism.
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma required; completion of an AVMA accredited veterinary technician program preferred.
- Certification as a Veterinary Technician is preferred.
- Greater than 1 year of experience in veterinary medicine is required.
- A self-starter who thrives both in a team environment and independently, with excellent communication skills.
- Fear Free Certified a plus
- BLS and ALS RECOVER certified is a plus
- Triage experience
