Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Fry Cook to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of fried menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are consistently followed during food handling and preparation
- Assist in menu planning by providing input on popular items and ingredient needs
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including fry stations, utensils, and equipment
- Monitor food quality during preparation, adjusting cooking times as necessary for optimal results
- Support the team with food service duties, including plating dishes attractively and efficiently
- Follow all kitchen safety protocols, including knife skills and proper food handling procedures
Experience
- Previous dietary department or dietary aide experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable
- Familiarity with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering operations is a plus
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of food safety standards are essential
- Prior kitchen experience in fine dining or the food industry will be advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
Pay: From $13.73 per hour
