Full-Time Professional Pet Groomer
We are seeking an experienced Full-Time Groomer to join our team. We are looking for a skilled grooming professional capable of providing full grooms, haircuts, and breed-specific styles with a high standard of quality and care.
Responsibilities
- Perform full body haircuts, trims, and breed-standard grooms on dogs of various sizes and coat types
- Complete de-shedding, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other standard grooming services
- Assess coat/skin condition and communicate any concerns
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized grooming environment
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with pet owners about grooming needs and results
- Work efficiently while prioritizing animal comfort and safety
Requirements
- Professional grooming experience required — this is NOT an entry-level or bathing-only position
- Ability to perform complete haircuts and breed-specific grooms
- Must provide a portfolio of past grooming work (photos required)
- Strong handling skills and confidence working with dogs of all temperaments
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift dogs as needed
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a professional grooming salon, veterinary clinic, or pet care facility
- Certification from a grooming program
- Familiarity with safety protocols and proper grooming tool maintenance
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
