What You'll Do
As a Visiting Angels caregiver, you'll provide compassionate, non-medical care that helps seniors remain independent and comfortable at home.
Responsibilities include:
- Companion care and conversation
- Personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Medication reminders
- Mobility and transfer assistance
- Transportation to appointments and errands
- Dementia and Alzheimer's support (training available)
- Observe and promptly report changes in a client's physical, mental, or emotional condition to the office
- Accurately document care provided, client observations, and completed tasks using our electronic visit verification (EVV) system and required visit notes
- Follow each client's individualized care plan and agency policies to ensure high-quality, consistent care
Qualifications
- CNA, HHA, PCA, or nurse aide certification hours required
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to use a smartphone or mobile app to complete electronic visit verification (EVV), shift documentation, and required care notes
- Ability to pass a background check and meet employment requirements
