About the Role
As our Receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors—delivering outstanding customer service while managing calls, scheduling appointments, and resolving inquiries with professionalism and care. Your work ensures smooth patient flow and supports our mission: helping people “See Life’s Special Moments, More Clearly.”
What You’ll Do
· Warmly welcome and assist patients and guests, both in person and by phone
· Handle scheduling and confirmation of appointments—via phone, text, or in person
· Accurately collect and update patient information, including emails and demographics
· Oversee patient check-in and check-out processes
· Verify insurance details and collect payments with confidence
· Coordinate appointments from recall and wait lists
· Support timely communication across departments and with patients (calls, texts, emails, postcards)
· Address patient concerns promptly and compassionately
· Maintain patient records and privacy in line with HIPAA standards
· Keep our reception area organized and welcoming
· Take on additional responsibilities as needed

Qualifications
· GED or High School Diploma
· Valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency—written and spoken
· Basic math skills
Physical Requirements
· Standing, sitting, or walking for long periods
· Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
· Compliance with OSHA and PPE requirements (including COVID-19 safety)
