PLU2O is a licensed cannabis retailer seeking a reliable, professional Security Guard to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for our staff and customers. You’ll be the first point of contact at the door and a key part of keeping our premises secure and compliant with California cannabis regulations.
Responsibilities :
- Verify customer age and valid ID at entry (21+ only)
- Control access to the dispensary and restricted areas
- Monitor the premises, entrances, and surveillance systems
- Deter theft, loitering, and unauthorized activity
- Respond calmly and appropriately to incidents and de-escalate as needed
- Maintain a visible, professional security presence throughout your shift
- Document and report incidents to management
Requirements:
- Valid California BSIS Guard Card (must be current and in good standing)
- Must pass a background check
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Reliable, punctual, and able to stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong observation, communication, and customer-service skills
- Professional demeanor and sound judgment under pressure
Pay: $18.00 per hour
