Pay: $17 – $23 per lesson hour
About the Role
You're a working musician who loves teaching almost as much as playing. At Bach to Rock Huntersville, you'll teach private lessons on guitar, piano, and/or drums — and if you play more than one, we can build your student roster faster and offer you more hours. You'll also have the chance to coach students in our B2R Rock Bands, where kids learn by playing together in real ensembles rather than just working through method books.
We're looking for someone who can build real relationships with students and families, keep lessons fun, and make progress feel achievable.

This role is part-time by design and works best as supplemental income around a primary job, gigging schedule, or other creative work. If you're looking for flexible, meaningful, music-filled hours that pay well and don't take over your life — this is that. If you need full-time hours, this isn't the right fit.
What we're looking for
- Strong player on guitar, piano, or drums (bonus points if you're solid on more than one — guitar, bass, piano, drums, or vocals)
- Availability on Saturday (9:30 AM–4:00 PM) or Sunday (12:00–4:00 PM) is our most immediate need — we're specifically hoping to fill weekend hours right now. Other weekday availability is welcome too and can open up additional hours.
- Genuinely enjoys working with kids and teens
- Can commit to a consistent weekly schedule so students see the same teacher each week
- Prior teaching experience is a plus but not required — we train
What you'll do
Teach private 30- or 60-minute lessons, coach students in B2R Rock Bands, track student progress, and communicate with parents. Help us grow the instrumental program at Huntersville.

Schedule
Part-time, with weekend availability (Saturday 9:30 AM–4:00 PM and/or Sunday 12:00–4:00 PM) most needed right now. Additional weekday hours possible depending on your availability.
