Prven track recrd building psitive relatinships with families and c- mmunity.
Experience in cmmunity capacity building and rganizatinal cllabrati- n
Exceptinal interpersnal skills and strng verbal and written cmmunicati- n skills
Ability t cllect and analyze data t drive impr- vement.
- Bilingual in Spanish (Preferred).

Under the directin f the Deputy Superintendent, the Chief utreach fficer fr Family & Cmmunity Engagement is respnsible fr advancing the district’s visin, missin, and gals. The Chief utreach fficer fr Family & Cmmunity Engagement imprves academic achievement fr all students thrugh partnerships and innvative prgrams. The Chief utreach fficer fr Family & Cmmunity Engagement is respnsible fr strategic partnerships, district events, and all aspects f the rganizatin’s utreach wrk. The Chief utreach fficer fr Family & Cmmunity Engagement will have a laser fcus n accelerating equity and rganizatinal excellence by achievement f the verarching pririties f the Allentwn Schl District:
- PERATINAL EFFECTIVENESS: Ensure that resurces and initiatives minimize/eliminate redundancies intensify fcus n pririties supprting excellent teaching and learning.
- TEACHING & LEARNING: Guarantee that students are prvided rigrus instructin and the skills, knwledge, vice, and scial-emtinal supprt they need t succeed and thrive in and beynd schl.

Essential Duties and Respnsibilities:
Supprts the Allentwn Schl District’s strategic planning pr
- cess
Develps alliances with cmmunity partners and elected fficials t prmte the success and pprtunities fr the sch- l district
Assists the Superintendent and/r the Deputy Superintendent in cmmunicating with c- nstituents
Creates and implements annual - utreach plan
Guides the develpment and executin f a framewrk t ensure that every schl is a cmmunity sch- l
Wrks with the ffice f Cmmunicatins and staff t develp marketing plans t recruit new vlunteers and partners in line with district - bjectives
Attends relevant cmmunity meetings; participates in relevant cuncils, rundtables, and c- mmittees
Mnitrs utreach and cmmunity supprt inv- lvement
Assists the Superintendent and the Deputy Superintendent in cmmunicating with parents, cmmunity members, and rganizati- ns
Studies schl data and Schl Imprvement Plans and assists with imprving schls by building n each sch- l’s strengths
Prvides assistance t schls based n the pririty f needs identified in the Mdel - f Excellence Plan
Builds partnerships with cmmunity rganizatins t cnnect schls with appr- priate services
Cnnects schls t netwrk fr best practices that supprt the turnar- und principal
Develps and versees yuth develpment and leadership initiatives that supprt district and schl pri- rities
versees the implementatin f Schl Gvernance Cuncils (SGC) and Parent-Teacher rganizatins (PT) at all schl sites and wrks cllabratively with these cmmittees t supprt schl and district pri- rities
Wrks with ASD staff (principals and central ffice) t plan and implement innvative partnerships and best practices in alignment with schl design specificatins and impr- vement plans
Supprts direct reprts and their teams with strategy develpment, gal setting, fund raising, and p- licy engagement activities
Creates and facilitates the schl design partnership audit prcess t evaluate the effectiveness f the Allentwn Public Sch- ls’ partnerships
Wrks with the Superintendent f Schls and the Deputy Superintendent in advancing their district gals and majr public p- licy issues
Creates a cmprehensive prgram/resurces gap analysis and tracks prgrams and cntributins t better crdinate effrts fr increasing the capacity f sch- ls
versees the district’s cllabratins with cmmunity-based rganizatins, including but nt limited t, after schl prgramming, yuth empwerment with cmmunity partnerships, and ther schl supp- rts
- versees events which celebrate and publicize student, staff, and district successes
Wrks with the ffice f Talent Management in the develpment and supprt f emplyee appreciatin pr- grams
Serves as a clearinghuse fr matching dnatins and schl/pr- gram needs
Prvides supprt and infrms schl leaders n the rle partners can play in impr- ving academic achievement
Supprts develpment functins, including research, prspecting, and grant writing in supprt f district initiatives
Develps and implements strategies t educate and infrm the cmmunity abut successes within Allentwn Public Sch- ls
Serves as a spkespersn fr the Allentwn Public Sch- ls as directed by the Superintendent •
