Looking for a unique and engaging entry level position? Look no further! Repeat Boutique is a locally owned and operated full-service consignment boutique. You will be working with clothing, antiques, home décor, and customers! This position is fun, friendly, and community-oriented; we thrive on an easy-going and warm work environment where fashion trendiness and good vibes are valued. We are a small business with close relations to our employees and customers.
This position requires the ability to show up on-time for all scheduled shifts. We are looking for a full-time team member to work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday! Ability to work December 24th and 26th is also required.
We are open 10am - 5:30pm Monday thru Saturday, and 11am - 5pm on Sundays. Employees are asked to begin their shift at around 9:40am (10:40 on Sundays) in order to have time to open the shop. The shift ends after the store has closed, all customers have left, and all closing tasks have been completed. Shifts are approximately 8 hours.
Daily tasks include:
- Operating point of sale & cash drawer
- Greeting and assisting customers (excellent customer service is a MUST!)
- Handling incoming consignments
- Cleaning tasks
- Organizing clothing/putting clothing on sales floor
- Tagging
- Creating displays, both home décor & clothing (creativity is valued here!)
- Being a team player
- Showing up on time in an enthusiastic mood!
Qualifications:
- Previous retail experience preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills, customer service skills, and team building skills
- Ability to keep organized & follow directions closely
- Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment, or keep busy in a slow-paced environment
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to work scheduled shifts
- Must have reliable transport
- Must be comfortable lifting & moving objects and being on your feet for the full shift
