Job Summary
We are a boutique consulting agency looking to hire 1 - 2 fiction writers, nonfiction writers, or poets to join a mission-oriented team that helps nontraditional applicants apply to law school. Specifically, our writers help applicants brainstorm, draft, and polish their admissions essays (personal statements, diversity statements, etc.) in a way that prioritizes interiority and personal narrative. We provide our clients an extremely personal, high-end, and tailored experience—much like a one-on-one workshop. If you enjoy this particular aspect of pedagogy (and especially if you have a nontraditional background yourself), we would love to hear from you.
Requirements
- MFA or PhD in fiction, nonfiction, or poetry
- Experience teaching writing at the college level
- Strong publication history
- Comfortable with flexible, video-call work
