Pallet Express is looking to hire four Pallet Repairers to repair pallets based on customer specifications and within the company’s quality standards. We are willing to train the right candidate. Please apply if interested.
Department: GMA Repair
Work Hours: 40 Hours. Monday thru Friday, 6 am to 2:30 pm
Pay: $17.50 per hour plus production bonus
Quota is 14 stacks a day, 21 pallets tall. If you go over 14 stacks a day you are then paid by the stack most of our repairmen accomplish much more then quota so it is very attainable.

Duties &* Responsibilities*:
- Ability to repair pallets
- Remove and replace broken boards
- Repair broken runners and/or stringers
- Remove or knockdown exposed nails
- Move pallets from the stacking area, to the work table and to the staging area
- Stack pallets 21 high
- Maneuver (flip/rotate) pallet while on the work table
- Use hand tools (pry bar, pneumatic nail gun, hammer) in a safe manner
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Other Duties:
- Maintain clean work areas free of clutter, debris and maintain acceptable levels of dust
- Ability to move through work environment safely and cautiously
- Other duties assigned as necessary
Physical Demands:
- Walking and standing constantly
- Must have a fully functional range of motion from the floor to overhead to maneuver pallets
- Reaching forward continuously to repair pallets
- Squatting or bending forward to place pallets
- Pallet height range: 6-98 inches
- Worktable height: 36 inches
Dexterity:
- Must be able to fully extend arms in any direction
- Must be able to seize, hold and grasp items, including hard to handle items (e.g. large pallets
- Ability to perform fine motor tasks such as using hand tools
Material Handling Weights:
- Lift up to 35 lbs. constantly
Environmental Specifications:
- Exposure to dust
- Indoor position and sheltered from weather elements
- Not temperature regulated
Personal Protection Equipment:
- Closed-toe shoes/work boots
- Eye protection
- Hearing protection
- Gloves
Necessary Skills:
- Be able to follow written and oral directions
- Works in compliance with company's quality standards
- Punctual and regular attendance is required
- Be able to safely operate all required equipment
- Must comply with company's policies and procedures

Qualifications
- Proficient in using an ohmmeter for electrical testing and diagnostics
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience in repairing and maintaining various electronic devices
- Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in repair environments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and colleagues

Pay: $17.50 - $33.00 per hour
