Job Overview
Concrete & Foundation Solutions LLC is seeking a dependable, hardworking Concrete Laborer / Concrete Finisher to join our team for the upcoming season.
This position involves more than traditional concrete flatwork. In addition to concrete preparation, placement, and finishing, our team performs a variety of foundation repair and structural concrete projects throughout the greater Twin Cities metro area.
The ideal candidate is comfortable performing physically demanding work, works well as part of a crew, and takes pride in delivering quality craftsmanship for our customers.
Previous concrete, construction, foundation repair, masonry, or finishing experience is strongly preferred. We may also consider motivated candidates who are dependable, willing to learn, and committed to doing the job correctly.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with concrete preparation, pouring, placement, and finishing
- Preparing job sites, forms, tools, materials, and equipment
- Mixing, moving, spreading, leveling, and finishing concrete
- Assisting with foundation repair and structural concrete projects
- Loading and unloading tools, equipment, and materials
- Operating hand tools and construction equipment as directed
- Maintaining clean, organized, and safe job sites
- Working closely with crew members to complete projects efficiently
- Following company procedures and job-site safety requirements
- Representing the company professionally while working at customer properties
Qualifications
Applicants must have:
- A valid driver’s license
- Dependable transportation
- The ability to lift and carry 60 pounds or more
- The ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the day
- The ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions
- Strong attendance, reliability, and punctuality
- The ability to follow instructions and work well with others
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Pride in the quality of their work
Previous experience in concrete installation, concrete finishing, construction, foundation repair, or masonry is preferred.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time seasonal position running approximately April through November.
Typical workdays are:
Monday through Friday
7:00 a.m. start time
Daily and weekly hours may vary depending on project schedules, weather conditions, travel, and workload.
Compensation
Pay starts at $25+ per hour, with higher starting pay available depending on the applicant’s experience, skills, qualifications, and ability to contribute to the crew.
