Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles is seeking a Senior Manager of Donor Stewardship to strengthens donor engagement and retention through strategic stewardship, personalized donor experiences, prospect research, and relationship-building initiatives that advance major and planned giving growth and support Habitat LA's fundraising objectives.
**THIS IS A HYBRID WORKING POSITION**
Develop and execute a comprehensive donor stewardship strategy in partnership with the Senior Director of Individual Giving to increase donor engagement, retention, and long-term philanthropic support. Oversee the Donor Stewardship Specialist and establish performance benchmarks to ensure timely, personalized, and impactful stewardship activities.

Manage a segmented portfolio of donors and prospects requiring elevated stewardship. Design and implement customized engagement strategies that strengthen relationships, deepen donor commitment, and advance major and planned giving opportunities.

Partner with the Individual Giving team to conduct donor and prospect research, identify philanthropic capacity and engagement opportunities, and provide actionable insights that support cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies.

Collaborate with the Individual Giving and Events teams to plan and implement stewardship and cultivation events. Leverage organizational and signature events to create meaningful donor experiences that enhance relationship-building, recognition, and donor retention.

Minimum of three to five years of experience in donor stewardship, individual giving, donor relations, fundraising, or nonprofit development.

Demonstrated experience developing and implementing donor stewardship strategies that improve donor engagement, recognition, retention, and long-term support.

Working knowledge of major gifts and planned giving practices, including donor cultivation, solicitation support, stewardship, and moves management.l.

Ability to interpret donor data and research findings and translate them into actionable recommendations for fundraising and relationship-building strategies.

Experience supervising, coaching, and evaluating staff, including establishing performance expectations, benchmarks, and accountability measures.

Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and thoughtfully with donors, prospects, staff, volunteers, and community partners.

Proficiency with donor databases or customer relationship management systems, such as Raiser’s Edge NXT, Salesforce, preferred but not required.

Strong project-management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple donor activities, events, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.

High level of accuracy, attention to detail, discretion, and sound judgment when handling confidential donor, financial, and organizational information.

Ability to collaborate effectively across Individual Giving, Events, Communications, and other departments to deliver consistent and meaningful donor experiences.
Pay Range: $26.44 - $31.25
