Job Overview
Georgia Dumpster Rentals is a locally owned roll-off dumpster company serving North Georgia. We're adding a dependable non-CDL driver to run morning deliveries and evening pickups.
What you'll do
- Deliver and retrieve 10–20 yard roll-off containers at homes and job sites
- Place bins carefully, protect driveways, watch for low limbs, utility lines, and septic fields
- Photograph every placement and pickup before leaving the site
- Tarp and secure loads; haul to the transfer station and pull weight tickets
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections; keep the truck clean and fueled
- Communicate with dispatch by phone and app; call in on overweight loads, blocked access, or anything that doesn't look right
Schedule
Split shift. Mornings roughly 6:30–10:30 AM for deliveries, evenings roughly 4:00–7:00 PM for pickups. Monday through Saturday, with flexibility on specific days. Volume varies by season.
What we're looking for
- 21 or older, valid Georgia driver's license, clean MVR (no DUI; no more than two moving violations in three years)
- Current DOT medical card, or willing to obtain one before the first route
- Hook lift or cable hoist experience strongly preferred; box truck, dump truck, flatbed, or tow truck experience considered
- Confident backing into tight residential driveways
- Smartphone and comfort using a dispatch app
- Able to lift 50 lbs, work outdoors in all weather, climb on and off equipment
- Reliable. Answers the phone. Treats a customer's driveway like their own.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
