Location: Blue Ash, Ohio 45242
1st, 2nd & Third Shift Available.
Position Summary
The General Labor position is an entry-level role within our clients manufacturing facility. Employees in this role may work across multiple departments and stations based on production demands. Candidates must be flexible, adaptable, and willing to support various operational needs to ensure efficient production flow.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Read, interpret, and follow written work instructions and verbal directions.
- Inspect parts for defects and report any deficiencies to the Supervisor.
- Follow all company and industry production standards, safety policies, and procedures.
- Maintain quality standards and take responsibility for personal workmanship.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment as required.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Willingness to rotate between different jobs and departments as needed.
- Ability to maintain a consistent and acceptable work pace throughout the shift.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and team-oriented.
- Strong attendance record and punctuality required.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to work a regular 40-hour schedule, with mandatory overtime as required based on production needs.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for 8–10 hours per shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (approximately 25% of the shift).
- Ability to work in high-temperature environments, especially during summer months (90–100°F).
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and handle physical labor throughout the shift.
