Warehousing Etc is a family-owned third-party logistics (3PL) company specializing in container transloading, cross-docking, short-term warehousing, and distribution throughout the Tampa Bay area.

We're growing quickly and are looking for someone who wants to become a key member of our operations team.
This position combines office coordination with hands-on warehouse work. You'll spend part of your day communicating with customers, entering orders into our warehouse system, and preparing paperwork. The rest of your day may involve operating a forklift, unloading ocean containers, organizing freight, loading outbound trucks, or supporting the warehouse team wherever needed.

What You'll Do
- Coordinate inbound and outbound customer shipments.
- Review customer emails, delivery orders, packing lists, and shipping documents for accuracy.
- Enter inbound and outbound orders into our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Prepare warehouse paperwork, labels, and shipping documents.
- Communicate professionally with customers, truck drivers, and carriers.
- Check drivers in and out and verify paperwork.
- Identify, label, organize, and locate freight throughout the warehouse.
- Operate a sit-down forklift.
- Unload ocean containers containing pallets, crates, loose cartons, and oversized freight.
- Load outbound trucks safely and accurately.
- Restack shifted truckloads and rebuild pallets when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
- Assist with warehouse operations as priorities change throughout the day.

Required Qualifications
- Previous sit-down forklift experience required (current certification not required—we will certify the right candidate).
- Previous warehouse experience.
- Comfortable using computers throughout the day, including email and web-based software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Comfortable working in a non-air-conditioned warehouse in Tampa, including inside trailers and ocean containers.
- Willingness to work overtime when customer demand requires it.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or distribution.
- Experience using a WMS, TMS, or ERP software.
- Experience unloading ocean containers or cross-dock operations.
- Spanish language skills are a plus.
