Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items efficiently while maintaining consistency and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients
- Follow recipes and portion controls to ensure accurate meal presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations
- Support kitchen operations by restocking supplies and managing ingredient inventory
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy hours
- Handle food handling responsibilities responsibly, including proper storage and sanitation practices
Requirements
- Previous experience in a food service environment, including restaurant or catering experience
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and cooking methods
- Familiarity with dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
