The Department of Environmental Quality is looking to fill two Environmental Program Coordinator positions in the Division of Waste Management & Radiation Control.
Key Responsibilities

Incumbents in this position combine specific environmental program knowledge with advanced administrative skills to complete tasks involving the verification, entry, and manipulation of scientific data.

Responsibilities include data gathering, as well as reviewing and implementing internal procedural policies. Additionally, assignments involve completing various tasks associated with environmental program management.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
-
Ability to interpret and apply state, and federal environmental regulations.

Proficient in preparing compliance reports and monitoring data in software.

Capable of managing project deadlines.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Understanding environmental programs and program coordination.
-
Understanding of local, state, and federal environmental laws (EPA, NRC) and permitting processes.

Proficient with environmental data management tracking.
