Entry Level Die Maker Job Details
Schedule: Monday-Friday (Shift to be discussed during interview)
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Location: Middletown, OH
Entry Level Die Maker Requirements/Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read and understand work orders and instructions
- Ability to use hand, power, and pneumatic tools safely
- Basic math skills, including fractions and geometry
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to handle large or awkward-shaped materials
- Previous manufacturing experience is a plus but not required
- Background check required (Instant background acceptable; previous employer reference checks required)
- 5-panel drug screen required
- No violent or drug-related offenses
About the Entry Level Die Maker Role
As an Entry Level Die Maker, your responsibilities will include:
- Install rubber on rotary and flat cutting dies according to work orders
- Select the proper glue, rubber type, height, and placement for each job
- Repair and re-rubber dies as needed
- Run proof tests on cutting dies to verify quality
- Monitor rubber inventory and notify management when supplies are low
- Wrap and package completed cutting dies for shipment
- Read and follow work order specifications accurately
- Operate hand, power, and pneumatic tools safely
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all company safety and quality procedures
- Assist with additional production duties as assigned
