Fire Sprinkler Foreman / Journeyman Fitter / Apprentice
Delta Fire Protection & Equipment is a growing, open-shop (non-union) fire protection contractor serving Southern California and the Western United States. We are currently hiring experienced Fire Sprinkler Foremen, Journeyman Fitters, and Apprentices to join our team.

Pay
$45.00 - $55.00 Foreman
$35.00 - $45.00 Journeyman/Apprentices
Compensation based on experience, certifications, and position level.
Position Summary
The Fire Sprinkler Foreman, Journeyman Fitter, or Apprentice will be responsible for the installation, service, inspection, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems while maintaining compliance with NFPA standards, manufacturer requirements, and local fire codes.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot fire sprinkler systems
- Perform quarterly, annual, and 5-year fire sprinkler inspections
- Complete accurate inspection reports and service documentation daily
- Follow assigned schedules using company software and mobile applications
- Read and interpret plans, specifications, and fire protection drawings
- Maintain compliance with NFPA standards and local fire codes
- Respond to emergency service calls as needed
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment
- Travel to customer and project sites throughout assigned territories
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
QualificationsForeman Candidates
- Minimum 4 years of fire sprinkler installation, service, or inspection experience
- Ability to lead crews and coordinate field activities
- Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and fire sprinkler systems
Journeyman Candidates
- Experience installing, servicing, or inspecting fire sprinkler systems
- Journeyman certification preferred but not required
Apprentice Candidates
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn the trade
- Construction experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work with hand tools and power tools safely
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
- Authorized to work in the United States
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and lift materials and equipment
- Experience using hand tools, drills, and power tools
- Ability to obtain required certifications and clearances
- Federal base clearance or ability to obtain clearance is a plus
Travel
Travel to project sites is required.

Per diem is provided for qualifying out-of-town travel.

Work Location
Based out of North Hollywood, CA with travel to project and service locations throughout the region.
