Automotive-Parts Counter Salesperson
About the Role
We are seeking customer-friendly, team-players with a working knowledge of automotive systems and parts to help us never say “NO” to a customer, but turn the customer's automotive needs into parts and associated products sales.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Customer Service – assist customers in finding the right solutions to their needs,
- Use technology – to search for the right products,
- Communicate – product information to help customers choose the right products,
- Recommend – associated products,
- Conduct – cashier transactions,
- Assist – with general store activities such as restock shelves and storefront cleanliness.
What You’ll Need
- Working knowledge of – automotive systems and parts,
- Flexibility – be available to work evenings and weekends,
- Talent for – be customer-friendly and a team-player,
- Multi-tasking – be able to switch between work activities based on urgency,
- Physical – be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 65 pounds for short distances.
Job Conditions
This is an active, hands-on role. Candidates must be able to:
- Physical – standing, bending, stretching, and using a computer keyboard, some heavy lifting.
- Environmental – mostly indoor work with storefront noise levels.
