I'll tell you everything if you call concerning this work. I need a long term person. Pay is for40 hours weekly. We're in downtown Cullman so you'll need to live very close by.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care to children and infants, supporting their physical, emotional, and developmental needs
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, bathing, dressing, and hygiene management
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social interaction
- Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive conduct and emotional regulation
- Support individuals with disabilities by assisting with mobility, communication, and daily living tasks
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to safety protocols and administering basic first aid when necessary
- Collaborate with families and team members to develop personalized care plans that meet each individual’s unique needs
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children or in childcare settings such as daycare or preschool is highly preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required or willing to obtain upon hire
- Experience caring for infants and toddlers, including feeding and developmental activities
- Strong communication skills to effectively teach, guide, and support children or individuals with disabilities
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors with patience and professionalism
- Passion for caregiving with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on lives through nurturing support
