Primary tasks are developing fatherhood community resource materials, facilitating Dedicated Dads group, and developing and implementing father and male friendly group activities.
Additionally, this role coordinates with other EES staff involved with families to ensure a focus on family engagement, especially mens issues and needs within specific families, as well as creating and organizing monthly parent education activities and materials. A background check and fingerprinting is required along with a pre-employment physical and TB screening questionnaire.Minimum Qualifications: A credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling or a related field, or commitment to obtain it within 18 months of hire. Two (2) years experience working with men in group or individual settings. Experience working with at risk families.
