Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling components and products with precision and efficiency, ensuring quality standards are met throughout the production process. Your mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret technical drawings will be essential in creating high-quality finished goods. Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components and products using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and manufacturing documents to accurately complete assembly tasks
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and shop math to verify dimensions and ensure quality standards
- Follow safety protocols by properly using personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times during manual handling and assembly processes
- Conduct fabrication and machining tasks as needed to prepare parts for assembly or final product completion
- Interpret production documents and schematics to facilitate accurate assembly and troubleshooting of mechanical systems
- Maintain a clean, organized work area in the warehouse or manufacturing floor to promote efficiency and safety
Qualifications
- Proven experience with mechanical assembly, fabrication, or manufacturing environments
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings or schematics
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial equipment safely and effectively
- Basic shop math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and quality checks
- Experience with soldering or working with electrical components is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of PPE use and safety procedures in a manufacturing setting
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with inventory management is advantageous
- Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to interpret technical drawings will ensure success in this role
