Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated TIG Welder to join our fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise welding operations using Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) techniques to create high-quality liquid packaging equipment. Your expertise will ensure that all welds meet strict quality standards, adhere to safety protocols, and align with project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction and fabrication projects, contributing to the development of durable and reliable packaging equipment
SUMMARY RESPONSIBILITES
Responsible for welding and fabricating parts as per supplied engineering documentation. Emphasis is placed on meeting deadlines for the completion of finished parts and the quality of manufacture. Ensures company processes are followed and yield the desired results; timely and quality parts which meet or exceed design specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Ability to weld parts to a given specification
· Ability to setup and operate the shear
· Ability to read inspection equipment, such as calipers, bore gauges, tape measure, etc.
· Ability to record time on given time sheets
· Ability to work to the given schedule
· Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
· Ability to work safely and efficiently
· Ability to develop and modify practices and processes to improve effectiveness and efficiencies
· Ability to ensure a consistent manufacturing approach and appropriate techniques
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school degree or equivalent; plus a minimum of four years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMPUTER / PC SKILLS
Associate must possess literacy in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Mail / Exchange. Associate is expected to develop appropriate knowledge of our MRP system as required to perform his/her duties.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, interpret and apply technical data, drawings and reports to the design of packaging equipment and change parts as would be expected within the packaging and design profession. Ability to effectively respond to inquiries from customers, vendors, other associates and members of the packaging, design and business community.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to apply common mathematical concepts required, including concepts such as addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical operational situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect appropriate data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
A professional certification is not required.
