Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in CAD software and possess a strong understanding of design principles. As a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining technical drawings and plans that support our civil engineering projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and produce detailed 2D drawings using AutoCAD software.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards in all technical drawings.
- Modify existing designs based on feedback from team members or clients.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation including specifications.
- Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and related documentation.
- Participate in project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Must be flexible in tasks required for projects
Requirements
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Previous experience in a similar role or relevant educational background in engineering is preferred.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
