Zimmerman Steel & Supply Co. LLC is seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our growing production team. This is a hands-on position for someone with a strong work ethic who enjoys solving fabrication challenges and producing quality work every day.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings.
- MIG weld carbon steel components.
- Fit, tack, and weld assemblies to print.
- Operate fabrication equipment including saws, ironworkers, grinders, and other shop equipment.
- Inspect your own work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Work safely while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Work with team members to complete projects on schedule.
Qualifications
- Previous MIG welding and fabrication experience required.
- Ability to read fabrication drawings.
- Ability to accurately measure using tape measures, squares, and measuring tools.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Dependable attendance and positive attitude.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand throughout the workday.
Preferred Experience
- Experience fitting structural steel or production weldments.
- Experience with stainless steel or aluminum is a plus.
- Overhead crane and forklift experience is beneficial but not required.

Pay: $20.47 - $25.00 per hour
