Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Engage with customers, providing friendly and knowledgeable service while taking drink orders.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, ensuring proper accounting of all sales.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and placing orders as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service for patrons at the bar.
- Uphold all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
- Participate in promotional events or catering services as required to enhance guest experience.
Skills
- Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Proven sales abilities to effectively promote menu items and increase revenue.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink preparation measurements.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders in a busy environment.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques is a plus for craft beer enthusiasts.
- Experience in catering or nightclub settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
